CLEANLINESS DRIVE AAZADI - E - PLASTIC

On the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's 150th Birth Anniversary, a Cleanliness Drive was organized by Pragyata Foundation in association with Delhi Police, Vasant Kunj, South, D6 RWA Santushti Apartments, Youth Empowerment Foundation and Force NGO.

A rally was organised in and around D-6 with slogans and banners to raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness and banning the use of plastic. Waste plastic and e-plastic was collected from households and disposed.

The students of Shyam Lal College presented a splendid and enthusiastic nukkad-natak (street play) to educate people about getting rid of plastic.

The Chief Guest of the Drive was SHO - Shri. Sanjeev Kumar and Guests of Honour were Inspector Sandeep Kumar, Mandal Adhyaksh Mehrauli - Shri. Jagmohan Mehlawat, Vasant Kunj Federation Secretary - Mr. Bhanu Bishnoi and RWA President - Mrs. Snehlata Rathi.

The event was appreciated by everyone who witnessed it and succeeded in its purpose which was to raise awareness about cleanliness and stopping the usage of plastic.
